I wonder how and when did I capture these beautiful moments of Mother Teesta and the playful kids. I felt it like the time stopped at the moment when these concrete walls took away the freedom of Mother Teesta. These walls not just took away her freedom, but also separated her from her sons and daughters of so called Rongkup-Rumkup of Mayal-lyang. These walls are the sign of violence and destruction. But those bravehearts still are struggling and fighting for the love of their lands and rivers. And today, I still wonder when will this long struggle for uniting our Rongkup-Rumkup will end; I still wonder when will Mother Teesta get back her freedom, and move on freely again on her eternal journey.
